Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an Mexican American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. Her first job at ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta is bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first post as a producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In 1992, her parents divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was during a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sister at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, but was already aware of the things she wanted to be doing. In the end she fell in love with the school. And they offered her the opportunity to study a major. After graduation, she went to the University as a media studies major. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was member of the class, established an ongoing friendship with the student. Her professor urged her to be confident and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
