Finch was born in the city of La Mirada, California. when she was 5, began playing softball at the age of five. She was the daughter of Doug Finch, her father. Doug was her pitching coach. After that, she attended University of Arizona, where as a pitcher and first baseman she played Three times an All-American. The year 2001 was the year her Wildcats team was awarded the title of National Champion In 2002, she was awarded the National Championship title. she received an award called the Honda Award for the best softballer of the nation. Wounded Warrior Softball Team's (WWAST) mission is to raise awareness about the sacrifices of soldiers, their resilience, and their ability to face obstacles through sporting events featuring celebrities as well as exhibition games.
